The Nutcracker…

About event

"The Nutcracker… The Beginning. Or, The Tale of Princess Pirlipat"

Where did the Nutcracker come from, who is Princess Pirlipat, and what does sausage have to do with any of it?! The answer lies in a simple and little-known story, written by Hoffmann and told by the actors of the Ilkhom Theatre.

The King and Queen, a marker, a spyglass, a cracker, a sausage, and a cutting board — thanks to nimble hands and imagination… come to life! The production is made in a mixed genre of object theatre and puppet theatre, with the use of an online broadcast. On the screen, the audience will see a "Living Cartoon," created by the actor out of objects and drawings, based on Hoffmann's fairy tale.
This is a fairy tale for children aged 6 and up, and for adults who love good theatre.

The production will be performed in the small hall, seating 50.
Latecomers will not be admitted to the auditorium — please arrive in advance.
Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
